Written by On September 20th, the Dallas Sub-Zero & Wolf Showroom hosted a special event to honor us for being Regional Winners of the 2014 International Kitchen Design Contest. We had the privilege of sharing this evening with a great group of clients (past, present, and future!), industry partners, and family and friends. We were sincerely thrilled and honored to have such a great support!
The evening began upstairs in the impressive showroom gallery with passed hors d’ouevres and perfectly paired wine. Guests–dressed in black & white per request–mixed, mingled, and enjoyed touring the showroom. Some even began to make their wishlists of appliances for their upcoming kitchen renovations!
The party moved downstairs for a lovely dinner presentation by Sub-Zero & Wolf Executive Chef Garth Blackburn. He awed his audience, as usual, by preparing a succulent beef tenderloin, seared first on the Wolf Infrared Griddle, then slow-roasted to absolute perfection in the Wolf Convection Steam Oven. In respect to the theme of the evening, he used a special ingredient to elevate the entree: the tenderloin was rubbed with kosher salt, black pepper, and…. cocoa powder! (NOT sweetened hot cocoa mix – don’t make that mistake as one of his clients once did! Ha!)
The sliced tenderloin was served with a grilled vegetable crepe and a whiskey cream sauce. We’re salivating just thinking about it!
After the dinner presentation–as everyone was sampling Chef Garth’s Adult Milkshakes for dessert–it was time for us to take center stage.
We gave a brief presentation about our experience as Regional Winners of the Kitchen Design Contest and how that contributed to our decision to come together and form our partnership and new business. We also explored the ingredients for a well-designed kitchen, delving into the specific details that set our winning kitchen apart. What a memorable evening! It was so inspiring to be in the presence of so many wonderful people and to know that everyone enjoyed themselves. We extend the deepest gratitude to Sub-Zero & Wolf for hosting this event, and to all our guests for taking time out of their busy schedules to celebrate with us.
