Nestled above Lake Austin, this Westlake Hills Cabana is the perfect place to entertain family and friends, while enjoying amazing views and our beautiful Texas sunsets. Function and flow was an important consideration and this expansive Cabana provides everything needed for a seamless event, whether large or small. The full kitchen was planned with a large central island that accommodates up to ten people, with adjoining outdoor living spaces for more casual dining and conversation. Televisions are viewable from all seating areas, as well as the pool, to create many opportunities watch the game. Our challenge with materials selections was to blend into the surrounding topography while maintaining the same clean, modern, and elegant aesthetic found inside the home. This was achieved by careful use of Texas limestone, reclaimed woods, blackened metal, and porcelain, and celebrating the inherent properties of each material. This mixed-materials approach was incorporated in the outdoor furnishings that live in the Cabana and also surround the pool.
